• Can you provide an example of a creative or innovative marketing, communications or commercial campaign to help you promote and sell sustainable holidays?

• Have you increased the share of sales of products that are certified as sustainable and, if yes, can you explain how you have done it? Please include examples of external marketing and commercial campaigns, or internal employee training and engagement initiatives to educate travel sellers about the importance of sustainable holidays.

• Have you implemented internal training programs to educate your team about the importance of sustainability when selling travel products? If yes, what results have you achieved? 

• Do you have dedicated internal communication programs to let your employees know about your company’s sustainability initiatives? If so, please describe what they are and what results they have achieved.

• Have you implemented technology innovations that have directly led to environmental or social improvements? If yes, please explain and provide details of measurable metrics.

• Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and foster innovation.

• Reduced Inequalities: Reduce inequality within and among countries.

• Sustainable Cities and Communities: Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.

• Responsible Consumption and Production: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns.

• Climate Action: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

• Life Below Water: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for sustainable development.

• Life On Land: Protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests,combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.

• Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions at all levels.

• Partnerships for the Goals: Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalise the global partnership for sustainable development.

• What measures and processes have you implemented to achieve the scalability of one or various sustainability projects in your organisation?

• How have used sustainability to create value and / or differentiation for your company?

• Have you implemented initiatives that link revenue growth to sustainability?

• What measures have you implemented to reduce CO2 emissions in your organisation? And what tangible results have you had?

• Does your company possess a sustainability certification? If yes, please explain which one, what measures you put in place to obtain it, and how it helped you sell or provide sustainable tourism offerings or improve workplace standards.

The following prompts may, but do not have to, form part of your application. If you need ideas to draft your proposal, use these prompts to prepare your application:

• Please describe any collaboration with stakeholders in local communities in travel destinations to define, implement and promote a project or initiative related to sustainability or community development.

• Do you collaborate with suppliers or commercial partners to drive progress in fields related to sustainability?

• Have you implemented processes or initiatives in your organisation to help you become more sustainable? This can include measures related but not limited to promoting low-emissions transport, workplace management, supplier and procurement selection based on sustainability standards, and waste reduction, among others.
