EUR 50,000 budget for a joint campaign with Iberostar centered around Sustainability.
The content, scope and timing of the campaign, as well as the media and/or channel chosen, will be agreed between Iberostar and the winner after the award ceremony.
The project of the winner of the category "Best Sustainability Initiative Tour Operator" will be presented in fvw.
All prize winners will be able to use the Iberostar Sustainability Awards public endorsement on their email signatures, websites and other marketing and communication materials, to support their company’s action on Sustainability commitments.

This can include measures related but not limited to promoting low-emissions transport, workplace management, supplier and procurement selection based on sustainability standards, and waste reduction, among others.
No, participation in the competition is free of charge.
You need to go to the application section and complete the required information. There is a limit of 5.000 characters to explain your initiative and you can also attach documents (PDF, video or other) to complement your entry.
Initiatives entered must have been implemented in 2022 and/or 2023, or should be currently in the implementation phase with a tangible impact in 2023.
Yes, organisations can submit multiple entries. Each entry should be submitted separately.
The closing date for entries will be midnight CEST, 31.05.2023.
A panel of industry experts will vote independently on each entry.
Please read the specific criteria for each category in the section "How to take part". The core principle of the awards is to reward initiative that, in the judges' view, has the greatest contribution to a sustainability cause. This can be understood by its immediate performance metrics or its potential transformative impact. The more factual information you can provide – including any relevant supporting information –the more likely the judges are to positively consider your entry.
Yes, we welcome collaborations between different organisations. Although the initiative can only be entered by one organisation, when submitting the application organisations can list all involved stakeholders.
Category finalists will be announced by 31st August 2023. If your entry is selected as a finalist, judges may contact you to request additional information and/or clarifications from your initiative
Winners will be announced at the fvw Kongress in Valencia, 20.-23rd of September 2023.
